I have an ATX powersupply with my current ATX motherboard. However, I am considering buying a mATX motherboard to replace my current motherboard. I am pretty sure the motherboard will fit in my atx case. However, I am unsure of whether the ATX powersupply will fully support my mATX motherboard. Is there things I should look for within the cabling to avoid any issues?

The power connections on mATX and ATX motherboards are them same. The difference between ATX and mATX PSUs is that the mATX is smaller for some mATX cases.

Hope this helps.

I have both mATX and ATX motherboards & run a regular PSU for them both.

Just check if it's a 20 or 24 pin PSU & MoBo.

I just checked. My old mobo was 20 pin, the new one I am looking at is 24. Is there a workaround to the 20 pin 24 pin issue, or do I just need a new powersupply.
