No E6600 price drop in Jan. right?

Hi all,
Ok this will be one of my last "Noob, Newb, Newbie" sorta posts. The e6600's price is not going to be dropped by Intel this month right? Is it just the processors with the 2mb caches?

Also could someone post a link to the "new" 74gb Raptor drive. I keep hearing people say there is a new one and I am not sure if the one I keep getting on Newegg is the new one.
