Help Overclocking a BFG 7800GS AGP

I'm fairly new to over clocking videocards, so i was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. My main questions are:

What's the best utility to overclock? I'm using RivaTuner, but how do i tell if the card is actually overclocked?

What benchmark ap is the best for me to tell the difference between the card at stock settings and then overclocked.

Right now i have it at 450/1325 up from 400/1250 stock. I've seen other ppl w/ this card overclocked much more, but i didn't want to push it as my cpu and system memory are also overclocked a bit.

P4 2.6 running at 2.8 (Presott) 2GB Ram MSI MB (if you could also recommend an ap for detailed system specs, that would be cool)

hey ive got the same card u can use a thing called coolbits but its have some wierd problems with me with my 93.71 drivers. an if u didnt know the 7800gs's are really overclockable = ).the only thing i can think of is installing like the 3dmark05 or 06 series an runnin them after its done it will give u a score id say use 3dmark05 cause its quicker u can download here http://futuremark.com/. oh an u can download thing call cpuz which tells u info bout ur comp
