I'm planning on purchasing a 19" monitor within a week. I want either the Viewsonic G90f, G90fb (black) or PF775. I noticed the G90fb is TCO'95 certified and the G90f is TCO'99 certified. Should this difference make me get the G90f over the G90fb? Also, i'm going to primarily use the monitor for games. Is an apperture grill really required? Thanks a lot.

The reason the fb is more compliant than the f is because black monitors are made of plastic not easily recyclable and are more likely to cause eye strain against a bright screen because of the contrast of black and white. Gosharks has mentioned this several times.

I personally prefer AG tubes for the less grainy and more vivid color. I like my PF790 for games a lot.

get the g90f or the pf775, forget the g90fb.

What about P95f ?

well you never mentioned the p95f. i heard excellent reviews about the p95f. but i'm not exactly sure how much better it is than the pf775. it sure is mroe expensive, that may be reason to get the pf775 instead though. i know for me it was between the p95f and the sony g420.

Sorry in my original post I meant PF790 not PF775.

P95f is like the newer model of PF790 so has a little better specs, but is also more expensive.
