I have a Netgear RangeMax 240 router that seems to running fine...until i try to play a game on Battle.net, WHY?

If I am just surfing the Internet there does not seem to be any problems.
But on Battle.net I am lagging constantly and keep getting disconnected even though my signal strength says Excellent and I am connected at
54 mb/s.

Help is needed desperately!

Thanks

Go to DslReports and use there tweek tool to check all of your settings.

Make sure your lease time on your lan is set to forever.

Lags are common when playing games over a wireless connection.

In addition, if your router supports QoS you can try prioritizing Battlenet.

Wireless is not very dependable for speed. I would play your games or do other bandwidth consuming things on a wired connection.
