I have a standard hp 3650 home printer connected to a computer on the network. I have tried nearly everything I know (yes it is shared on the network) and I can't get the other computers on the network to see it. By the way, I lost the installation cd. Any help and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

If it's a true network printer, just use add a new printer wizzard and select network, then use the http://ipaddress.

You can download the installer for HP's site.

Thank you I will try that.

Do you have printer and file sharing enabled? If you are running XP it helps to sometimes just run the wizard and walk through it so it sets the correct settings. You can do sharing manually and whatnot but there are sometimes hangups that sometimes get overlooked when setting it up. The wizard is actually a nice little gadgit and a time saver.
