Hey. I'm a first time overclocker and I'm trying a lot of different configurations.
I currently have Corsair 2x1024 Twin6400c4 memory and an E6700 processor on an Asus p5W DH Deluxe MB.
The current overclock is 3.2g @ 320 fsb.
I have the memory running at 5:4 ratio, but I'm wondering if I should try lowering the multiplier to 8 and running at 400 fsb to get a 1:1 memory ratio.
What are the advantages/disadvantages of this along with the different risks? Is this worth trying?
