I have just setup windows 2000 server fresh copy, new server. I have added
some users and add one computer to the domain as a test environment before go
live.
When the user logs on it takes about 1-2 minutes to bring up the start menu,
it just says "applying your personal settings".
Desktop OS is Windows XP PRO.
In the control panel under system and user profiles it tells me that the
profile is set to local and is only 670Kb.
Also if I unplug the network cable the user logs on very quick with no errors.
Could anyone please provide an insight as to what I need to do to resolve
this delay.
Thanks
Dave
