Hi all,

I recently upgraded from an ati 850 xt pe to an geforce 8800 gtx. With the new card, I am having some issues in certain EA games. Specifically on BF 2142 and BFME2, the settings do not even give me the option to turn the game resolution above 1152 x 864. With the x850 i didn't have this problem. I have found work arounds for each of these games, but it is bugging me that it doesn't work normally.

Does anyone else have this problem? I think it may be either a problem with the drivers, or a problem with the games not reconizing these new cards. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I should also note that I do not have this problem in any other games (BF2, oblivion, fsx, etc.)

Most likely a driver bug. Have you read the release notes for whatever version you are running? There should be a section for Known Issues that remain unresolved. Otherwise call their tech support, work with them so they get it fixed sooner rather than later.

are you running the newest nvidia drivers? I have the 8800gtx, and it gives me plenty of options above 1152x864. did you completly uninstall the ati drivers? there is a utility on ati's website to remove their drivers.

Yes to both questions. The wierd thing is, so far, it only does this in the two games.
