I've got a linux PC hooked up to a my sony kv32hs500 via DVI. I'm
having a strange problem where the TV is always in 16:9 mode, so it
shaves off the top and bottom of my image. (not resize to fit mind
you, it actually crops my image) Its also stretching the resolution
horizontally so I can't see the sides of my screen either. In the menu
for my tv I can turn 16:9 detection to on or auto but not off. Can
anyone tell me how the KV32HS500 determines if a signal needs the
letterbox? If I knew that, I could set the framebuffer to send out a
signal that doesn't trigger letterbox detection.
Thanks, And any other tips you have for me are definetly welcome =)
