If it were a contest between you and a wet paper bag, I'd bet my house on the paper bag.
Now go play in the traffic, donut.

i dunno cuz amd is more better in low mony areas and intel is has faster chips in the perphormance areena in the end but you have to laugh at the intel fanboyz that dont have got a clue and realize that in the amd end will rulez cuz they that have a more better ratio of stuf to over intel. i added you to my buddy list ok.[/Piddy]
King: You ARE smashed. . . aren't you?
My money's on AMD. Their systems tend to come with capital letters, question marks and apostrophes.
Nah, only 4th rum and coke. Gimmi' another hr or two. Actually, in an hr or two I'll kicking ass and taking names on GT5 online...
Tom's should have an honorary section set aside for classic Piddy posts.
I posted this a few months back, by judging but the name, I do believe I ran into him on COD4 on the PS3. Knifed "him" about 6 or 7 times. Got killed 10-15 on the way, but it was worth it...musta' given up on AMD and went over to cell...
*edit for too many letters in by...ok Dwells, you're right.
ROFL
That does sound worth it.
Now, they just need to make a Call Of Hippies game.
No shooting, you hand out job applications and drug tests.
I think I'll stick to playing Leisure Suit Riser.

They tried that already, but the power requirements were so low that computers went in to hibranate every time you tried to plsy

Somebody's using an Intel system.
..*Hopes Turpit can explain why a trillion is greater than a billion.*..
Things are getting pretty bad up there.
Zilog R0X0RZ111
My Cyrix pwns your Zilog
Not according to these synthetic benchmarks on this unbiased site:
http://www.zilogzone.com
Benchmarks are for noobs. Cyrix runs smoother because its native. Real geeks need megatasking platformance, not benchmarks

Cyrix are evil!!!
Zilog for Life!!!
All hail the quadopoly!!!
Actually... I think ARM are the people to be looking at right now.
No, that would be MIPS. . . RISC RISC RISC!

Cyrix are green
Zilog are harm the environment

Who wrote that?
Joe did.

Intel vs AMD is such a dismal vent, whereas Intel versus AMD, is an advisement slur.[/I'll get my coat]

Given that Linux netbook sales are already eating into Windows sales, forcing MS to extend the live of XP and work to ensure that Win7 will run on the lower power hardware I'd say this is an interesting development. Anybody that has seen what the Cortex platform can do in projects such as Open Pandora knows that given the right OS it has more than enough grunt for modern netbook type duties.
Get a Loonix version of Chrome and you're away. Imagine how fast a Splashtop desktop could have you on the net and browsing from initial power up. Chrome will get you access to googledocs and the like running like native apps thus negating the need for faster processors to run hungrier office apps.
Don't forget http://www.ingenic.cn/eng/productS [...] mPage.aspx either, cheap as chips.
CnMbook is a 7" netbook that uses one and can be had for as little as £115.00
Chrome is coming for loonix, although I'll stick with FF myself. Whilst XBurst is interesting I don't see them being much of a challenge to the well establish ARM. Many people seem to miss that XScale was an ARM licence and that they have been running embeded WindowsCE on ARM for years.
Want that nice ~£100 laptop running Windows? Try something like the Join Tech for under £100. Want a fast booting OS? You can make Linux boot in 2.97 Seconds on a 400Mhz ARM-9. That's not a cut down splashtop!
MS are already paying the price, 30% of Asus and Acer netbooks run Loonix and this is hurting their margins. They already have WinCE running on ARM so this might actually make sense to them as a way to split the market, Win7 on productivity machines and CE on the embeded / MID sector. Just not sure how that memo would go down with Intel, but then they know Atom is not quite the answer.
China are creating some interesting changes in the chip market. Loongson is bringing a bit of a push back towards MIPS, an already well supported and understood architecture. All it needs is for a few of the larger growing economies to decide that's the way they are going and the whole market could get very interesting.
And simple. . . MIPS assembler is very simple. Ok, well, I never got past 'Towers' but I did stick with it long enough to appreciate its simplicity.
Oh no, I'm being cyber-bullied by an eleven year old. Help, help, the kid is saying scary stuff at me through his computer.

did she look like this?
Older, bushier eyebrows, teeth like a witch-doctor's necklace, three day stubble and boils. The flowers, had they been present, would have been a welcome distraction.
Gotcha
testing. Test = fail. I wish they would fix the text colors and sizing
If you think that's ugly, you should see the other end.
Stop trying to get Turp to post the money shot, you sick pervert.
Hey, that's my job.
