Is it possible to run admin tools (admin the server - active direcory, etc.)
on a 2000 Server from an XP Pro desktop?

Hi,

Yes, you can use this one:

Windows Server 2003 Administration Tools Pack (adminpak)
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=c16ae515-c8f4-47ef-a1e4-a8dcbacff8e3&DisplayLang=en

Can be used to administer a Windows 2000 domain as well, but you
need to run it from a WinXP Pro or Win2k3 Server computer.
