1 gb or 2 gb

I want to build a computer and am deciding how much ram to put. The most use of it will be gaming. Should i get 1 gb or 2 gb?

I concur... 2 x 1GB gives you the best choices overall, but some better specs on what will be your final build will allow those that know more than me to guide you better....

I agree 2 gb would be alot better unless your sacrificing video card for more ram. both are important for gaming.

You can get by on 1 GB of ram, but unless you're building a gaming system on a strict budget, you'll get the best performance out of 2 GB.

dont get us wrong 1 gig will work fine but 2 is better.
