makin me want to oc all the time :twisted:

here it is 2 in the morning and what did i get

the bsod :evil:

i blame you all! :lol:

my computer works fine until i come here to the forums.

i have oc,ed before, but no you guys make me want to go higher.

but your not done yet.
the smoke hasn't come out of the case yet :)
i think thats what the rear exhaust fan is for 8)

i have had both my 3700 and my x24400 to 2.7
on an asus board. but tried my to oc my 3700 on a msi board
with corsair value select, i could get 2.4 easy but couldnt
get past 2.5.

So that's the sore spot, the MSI board. Go back to ASUS. When I had my X2 4400+, I got up to 2750 mhz on air, but couldn't get any farther. The scores from 3DMark06 hardly changed, so I dialed it back to 2640 and kept the cpu nice and cool.

never tried that.

How much were you overclocking? I think there's a one unstable component in your system.

the unstable component is between my ears :lol:

Well, glad you figure that out. Hopefully you can fix that problem. :p

my other comp with the asus mobo has corsair xms.
its the one oc,ed.

the msi mobo is for the kids and old lady.
