Ok, i am a networking noob so i really need some help here.
I have an antenna on my roof, there is an ethernet from that to my modem then there is an ethernet from that to my pc. I need to get a router to share the internet connection with my xbox 360 (not wirelessly though). I think what i need is a wired ethernet router in between my modem and pc/xbox. I am going to england in the next few days and i hope to get one there, are there any ones for under 70 pound (wired) that you would recommend? Also, my friend has an ADSL router/modem, he reckons if i had one of them it would work if i just had the ethernet from the modem going into it and then two more ethernets out of it to the pc and xbox, and just leaving the DSL port with nothing in it but i wasnt so sure that would work, can anyone confirm? sorry i know that might be a bit hard to understand, if you need any clarification on any of that let me know :D thanks in advance

I do not like combo products. And I'm not sure you can bypass the ADSL modem to get access to the router. Tom's just did a review on low cost routers (wired). But it did not access the long term stability.

Europe uses a different power source (voltage and hertz) than the US. Unless you are moving over there, you may want to just buy one here.

Routers can work as a switch, but switches can not work as a router. Here are a couple of reviews and the Master Router Table.
