What software do I download?

Hello,all:
A friend of mine ask me:
His PC's is win2000 profession,but he want to know:if he want to act the PC
as a server that can run asp file,he
should download what software?thanks.

It sounds like you're trying to serve web pages from this computer.
If that's what you're trying to do, you need to install IIS.

With win 2k pro, you can install IIS which will alow for web hosting
this is accesiable by opening the commponent add/remove menu and
selecting IIS. IIS (like all microsoft products) is full of security
hols and problems, so your probably better of using Apache.
