Being faced with the choice of getting Comcast for $20 a month or paying $20 to forever access the wireless network that is already in place, the second choice doesn't sound half bad. However, I am a regular gamer, and I have heard that any wireless connection is a nightmare to game on.

I am curious if the D-Link DWL-G132 would allow me to game without too much difficulty. I play both RTS and FPS, so erratic connection speed or losing the signal are both concerns for me. If the D-Link isn't up to snuff, what do you recommend? If you need any more information about my network or the like, I'll provide it as needed.

Thanks in advance guys,

Go with comcast.

Then install a router for the Hardware Firewall. Then setup a rules to auto open needed ports. This way they are only opening ports when you are gaming.

You have 2 things against you "Wireless and USB" both of those cause tremendous lags.
