I've Been thinking about that too. So far the only boards Ive seen that officially support 1333 are either 680i or 650i.

it seems not atm.

the Asus P5H DH has 1067mhz settings in the bios (after an update) but from what ive researched no1 can reach them (even with PC1066 ram), most ppl can max out at about 900mhz before getting crashes/bsod/errors.

as for an update, i have no idea..... seems weird that the chipset cant support it if u ask me.

Edit: Sorry im tired & stressed, just relised this post says absolutely nothing beneficial to this thread lol

dunno im new to intel.... was a amd junky. :p

kinda auto-assumed 975x came in when Core2Duo did + they say they support Quad processors etc

and if it came in then ud of thought theyd have the memory etc upto spec by now :/ motherboards really do my nut in these days (as u can tell by my post on forum)

both the Intel Badaxe2 & now abit AW9D (beta) have 1333 straps in the BIOS. Remember that 1333 is actually 333 quad pumped & we know that the boards can run at that speed or faster.
Of course Intel may pull another fast 1 & change something in the spec. so that we require new mobos even though the socket etc. stay the same ...
