directx10 questions

Im looking at video cards but with the new directx10 cards i dont know what to do. I wont be able to buy a card until march. When will direct x 10 become mainstream? What games will support it besides Crisis? Should i get a directx9 or 10 card? and how much are they. (sorry for all the questions)
