You picked great PSU's. They will do the job. You can even upgrade to one more 8800gts in SLI mode without a problem.

A three-GPU SLI?

My bet i just seen that he had a 8800gts already and he got one more 8800gts for an SLI. Thanks buddy.

thanks for the getting back guys, i went ahead and got the silverstone.i found it at a place i saw someone in the forums talk about. its called eastluna.com and it was 152 bucks shipped. hope they are as fast as the "egg"

also as a follow up last night i played half life 2 for like 2 hrs with everything cranked up and system runs fine,just didnt do much in 3 dmark06 compared to 1 card and when i try to oc cards it shuts down.could it be the second card is just bad?

Sure as long as the case can accomidate the cards and the PSU has the power needed to power the system.

www.overclockers.co.uk says:

"These cards require PCI-E x16 slots, they will not function in a x8 slot so for SLi you need dual x16 mainboard. Finally 500W minimum for PSU and 600W+ is recommended."

Interesting. Considering that most SLI motherboard run the 2 16x slots in 8x when in SLI. Yet few people run into problem SLIing the 8800s.

I beleive what it's refuring to is somone wanting to SLI on a non SLI board by using the 8x slot not a 16x running at 8x.
