Hi, I have recently upgraded to a Dell X50v, with
WM2003se, and am disappointed by the lack of photo
editing software.

I previously used ACDsee for the features it offers, but
when I try to run it with my new PPC, it usually crashes!

The "Pictures" program that comes with the PPC is a joke,
and all the other software has difficulty due to the fact
it's for WM2002.

Could someone help me find a good photo editing program
specific for WM2003se, I haven't found any. Doesn't have
to be free, but a trial period would be nice.

Thank you,
xfiler.

What kind of editing do you want to do? I use Resco Photo Viewer.

Thanks for the response! I am looking for essentially
the same properties of ACDsee for windows CE, rotate,
crop, organize, contrast, colors, etc. Does Resco Photo
Viewer do all of this for WM2003se?

TIA

I've not used all of the photo editing capabilities, but it does do a
lot. You can read the feature set here:

http://www.resco-net.com/picview_indepth.asp

You can download a trial version to see.

You might want to look at Conduit's Pocket Artist as well. It is a terrific
all-around graphics application.

Thanks Clinton and q_dise! I've tried at least 10 photo
programs, and haven't found exactly what I want yet - but
I haven't tried these two.

Good Day, xfiler

The full version comes free on the cd that ships with the x50v! (Or at least
it did when I bought mine). Check your cd.

Ya know - I did hear something about that - I just never
looked at the CD once I had the device out - it was katie-
bar-the-door!! Playtime!

Thanks, xfiler.
