what is better, to add to my P4 HT processor with 3 Ghz speed, should i put 1 Gig ram kingstone DDR2 533.
or put two 1 Gig ram kingstone DDR2 533.
friend of mine said that putting two 1 gig ram will cause the system to confilect, how true is it?

As long as your motherboard can handle 1GB sticks of RAM, it would not cause any issues.

Is this correct?

You already have a 1GB stick in the computer.
Now you want to add 1 or 2 more 1GB sticks.
So will having 3-1GB sticks cause a problem?

i have 1 GIG, i upgraded it to two GIG, n im getting some issues, dont remember if i had issues while i had 1 GIG alone.
i used the memtest84+, what i found is. if i use single stick, i have no problem, but if i use both of the sticks (2 x 1 GIG ram) it is giving me errors.
now, my motherboard supports till 4 GIG ram!, and both rams are matched, both are kingstone DDR2 533

Are they the same type of Kingston DDR2 533Mhz modules? If so, you shouldn't be having issues, but if they have different timings it could be the source of your problems.

when i ran the test with either one of them in the motherboard, i got no errors.
when i ran the test with two of them, i have strange readings. 1-first time i did the test for 5 hours. in the pass 0 i got two errors, and the rest for till pass 6 i got no error. 2-second time i did the pass 0 n i got no errors. 3- third time i did for 2.5 hours, i got one error in pass 0,1,3. All the errors are Type 7.
does it mean, i cant use both of my sticks, but i can use either of them in my pc?

Are these sticks dual channel? Usually they are paired on the 1st and 3rd slot while a 2nd pair in the 2nd and 4th slot on some motherboards. Sometimes, they colorcode the slots to show a difference.
