Hi, I'm looking at a new build (Intel E6300; MSI P965 Platinum mobo) and want your opinion on which of the following I should choose for my memory.

Corsair Value S. PC5300 DDR2 1024MB Kit w/two matched Value Select 512MB

Crucial DDR2 PC5300 1024MB CL5 Kit w/two matched DDR2 PC5300 512MB CL5

OCZ Platinum DDR2 PC6400 1024MB KIT, w/two 512MB PC6400 XTC, CL4-5-4-15

Your help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Colin

If you plan to OC, then I would suggest the fastest memory on your list. Otherwise, I'd buy based on price, warranty, company reputation, brand loyalty, flip a 3 sided coin  etc.

Thanks. So how would you rank my three options?
From my research all 3 companies seem to have a very good reputation. I'm leaning toward the OCZ set up at the minute but both Corsair and Crucial supply good quality products.

Seems like a no-brainer, assuming prices are similar. The OCZ is faster and has better latency timings. The Crucial is OK, and I'd avoid the Corsair Value Select line -- it's a low-end line that Corsair contracts out, unlike its high-quality premium XMS, XMS2, etc lines.

Make sure you check out OCZs website, there memory are a little picky about what mobo there compatible with, but their customer support is top notch.
