Does windows 2000 professional maintain a log of everytime the computer was
turned on and who turned it on? If so, what is the name of the log file and
where is it located?

In the control panel you have admin tools...then event viewer.

Who turned it on? well use a video camera....or finger printing might work

The first user that logged on *might* be the one who turned it on, but thats
NOT for sure
