I know I've posted this in another section of the forum, but i'm getting a bit desperate. Why in wusy's c2d overclocking guide does he say that the P5B vanilla is NOT reccomended for overclocking? Is it like the difference between the S3 and DS3, which is trivial at best (capacitors) or is it because the board will spew forth fire as soon as the FSB is raised . Okay, maybe that was a little over the top but what is the problem? Any sensible posts are greatly appreciated.
*EDIT* Is it because the memory voltage can't be raised very high?

someone else replied to this who had done a E6400 to 3.2 Ghz just fine. the guide says it is for reaching "as close to 4 Ghz as possible" so i think the problem lies in Heavy OC'ing. so if you're just doing a small OC it should be fine. But this is all deductive reasoning and i have no expertise or experience with the board... haha
