I am curious if my current skyhawk power one 620w could handle a 8800gtx (perhaps a r600 if they are released soon. It has 2x 12v+ rails with 20amps on each.
My rig is:

Asus A8R-MVP
amd x2 4800 @ 2.7ghz
2x gigs of G. Skill DDR400 @ 440mhz
500g Hitachi deskstar Sata II
2x 250g Maxtor Diamond 10 IDE 133 (not in raid)
Creative X-fi Xtreme Music
Asus p1 physx card (got it on ebay)

That is what I was thinking. I'll probably go for a OCZ 850w as they seem to have a very good price to performance ratio. I was planning on going sli or crossfire later and quad core when they become mainstream.

A lower wattage Enermax or Seasonic would be a better choice at the same pricepoint, even if the wattage is rated "lower".

You need to look at thing such as effiecently also.
