Check here.

It's a good approximation for overall power supply recommendation. As far as each rail's rating, I would think anything atleast 20A and above would be fine.

Also, what are the specs of your current power supply?

Not quite sure about the graphics, but what's the airflow like inside your case? That card can get pretty hot.

A better question you should be asking yourself is "What the F$!? am i doing using an x1950xt with a Celeron D356???"

the thing is not about the heat.i couldnt even get the graphics to turn on windows.and personally i think the celeron dont have much effect on it.im actually waitin 4 vista n quad core to be fully utilise with all driver than i will upgrade.

Then i'm afraid you're truly one of the most stupid people i've ever come across. Please check the www.tomshardware.com CPU interactive charts and put a Celeron D356 against an AMD x2 3800+ or anything similar.

I have the exact same problem, but i have a different configuration :

e6600 @ 3.6Ghz (Water cooled)
Sapphire X1950XT 256m
2gb of OCZ Platinum Rev2
P5W DH Deluxe

It run game pretty well ... but they all have random artefact here and there.
Some game even crash my computer (strange line in screen, require a power off to remove them...)

And in movie, i have strange green or black flashing pixels ... like 5 or 6 pixels flashing randomly in the screen, very strange.

And it all begin with the last driver, the 6.12.

I have a TT Kandalf LCS Case, so the airflow and temperature are ok.
Its not the overclock, since its was stable before 6.12 Catalyst driver. (over 12h of Orthos @ 57C without any error/warning)

It sounds like a driver problem. :(

EDIT :
Game thats crash my computer : Civ 4(after 10min-15min) and Titan Quest (after 30s-1min)
Game with artefact : BattleField 2142 (lots), NeverWinter Night 2 (lots), Silverfall (some), NHL 2007(some), Gothic III (some), and some more.
Game that play perfectly : TrackMania United and Warcraft III.

And ALL movie are affected by the pixel flashing thing.

but i think is the power though.the pc couldnt even load into windows.you know when windows booting up the resolution is at 800x600 but at my windows it was 1600x1200.so i assume that the card needs extra power to output the higher pixel.so thats why it boot up but fail when logiing in.

AFAIK you should have enough power even with 29A. Also AFAIK that's not how it works.

29A for a 750W is incredibly low. Can you list the brand and model of your PSU?

well i have heard this card is great thats why i got it.i will have to test it after my new enermax psu arrive than i will let you know.

I would also try a new CPU. Seriously that celeron is horrible, it's barely capable of running Photoshop, Publisher, Word and itunes at the same time, nevermind gaming.

The last time i had artifacts like that it was with my 9800 pro and it was a faulty card. Just got it changed for a new one and it the artifacts went away.

So my guess would be faulty card.
