Just wondering if anybody has had to do anything "inventive" to fit a new 8800GTX in their case? When I bought an 8800GTX I had no idea how big it would be and I needed to get out some cutters and cut away part of the hard drive mounting cage to fit the bugger in. It was only the rear of the cage (holds up to 5 hard disks, had to snip out part of drive bay 3) so I can still populate the cage entirely without mounting problems. Just wondering if that caught out anybody else?

yeah i have that problem all the time, trying to get it in
Good to know. I have the same case. When I upgrade later this year I'll know to get metal cutters along with my gfx card purchase (namely the 8800gtx). Do you think the R600 will be as long?
Yeah I know what you mean re: the money side of things. When I upgrade I generally make sure its going to last me a good few years. I always do plenty of research to make sure I know what I'm getting and what it can do. If I dont know then I ask on places like this.
