This is my first build, and I would appreciate some experienced input on whether it will work or not. This is going to be a moderate gaming rig, and I'm going to overclock the CPU, so I'll be back here when i want to do that. Thanks very much, and here it is:

I already have a good gaming mouse and keyboard, and speakers I also have.

Please let me know if I forgot anything, I'm not totally sure everything I chose is going to work right so any help would be awesome. I'm not building this until mid-March anyway so if anyone could tell me any upgrades I should make from now until then would be really helpful.

Yes the build will "work" but I will try to make a few suggestions.

The motherboard is very low quality and is bound to give you problems. I suggest something along the lines of a Gigabyte DS3 or S3. If you really want SLI you can get an Asus P5N-E SLI mobo with the 650i chipset. Or you can spend more and get a 680i chipset motherboard which also supports SLI.

I highly recommend getting a SINGLE 7950GT or X1950 series card over dual 7800GTs. You will get better performance at a lower price and less heat/power consumption issues. If you get an SLI board you can get another of the above at a later date if you really want SLI.

The memory is fine, but don't expect much overclocking performance out if it. If you plan to OC like you say, I suggest DDR2 800 memory in a quality brand such as Corsair, OCZ, Patriot, Crucial or another.

Don't spend the money on that water cooling kit. It performs about as well as a high end aircooler which would be much cheaper and less maintenance.

If you really want water cooling, say so and we can give you examples of some good kits or DIY parts.

Thanks, those suggestions really do make sense. The motherboard seemed good, but I guess you're right about it. I'll get RAM from Corsair, at DDR2 800. And the graphics card suggestion you made does beat my idea. Thanks very much, I don't really known what I'm doing, so I really appreciate it. But will I need an audio card as well? Or what is the deal with audio stuff if I go with the Asus P5n-E SLI with 650i?
