Hi,

I have windows 2000 server and I will lock the machine ("lock
workstation"), go to lunch and when I come back it is unlocked. I even
watch it unlock itself after 5 minutes or so.

Another person had this issue but with no response:

http://groups-beta.google.com/group/microsoft.public.win2000.general/browse_thread/thread/b74df6e0a30763de/ab07b42fa4c83b99?lnk=st&q=windows+2000+unlocks&rnum=1&hl=en#ab07b42fa4c83b99

What can I do to make sure my computer computer stays locked?

Thanks,

David

Sounds like the Group Policy has changed to make it do this.

Mike,

Thank you! Where would I change this? Active Directory (if so where?)?
In the meantime, I set my screen saver to lock the machine after 1
minute.

Thanks,
