I'm a graphic design student, and I'm in the market for a new laptop. There are so many options, so in your opinion, what should I look for? What should I buy?

This solution depends on the expectations and the budget. Generally speaking, graphics design (including CAD) are processor intensive. Therefore go with an Intel i-7 CPU as well as the maximum RAM that the laptop will support (not less than 4GB).

I have heard some good reviews regarding HP laptops, but that is a decision that you must make after reading customer reviews.
