how to connect front audio port

i have intel 946gzis motherboard.i want to connect front audio port to it. i need help i can't figure it out. on motherboard i have

PIN1= PORT1L
PIN2= GND
PIN3= PORT1R
PIN4= PRESENCE#
PIN5= PORT2R
PIN6= SENCE1_RET
PIN7= SENSE_SEND
PIN8= NO PIN
PIN9= PORT2L
PIN10= SENCE2_RET

WIRE'S FOR FRONT PANEL ARE NAMED AS

MIC IN
GROUND
RETURN R
RETURN L
SPKOUT R
SPKOUT L
MIC BIAS

I'm not sure. You should try looking up your case at the manufacturer's website - that's what I had to do for mine. It gave instructions of what front panel connectors went to what pins.

The pin connection for your board seem to be for HD audio, but
I don't think your front panel are HD compliant.

But if you we're to somehow able to change from HD to AC-97, then
you might be able to connect the front panel audio.

Like what NotAPineCone has mentioned, look at the board's website
or your manual to see where the proper pins go to.
