MS Money for Pocket PC - two questions, please

Just two questions:

1. Is the data in MS Money for PPC really encrypted, or is the password
for "obfuscation" only ? How safe is the data then ? I was able to
import data from MS Money into Spb Finance trial without supplying the
password.

2. I know that syncing Money file between two machines is a bad idea,
however, what happens if I copy the main (desktop) file from one PC to
another, make changes, and then sync using the same username ? Is it
still going to see it as different system ?
