Hey all, i just finished building my new PC and i started it up, and evertyhing whent well. i got into BIOS and checked the temp to make sure the block was seated right; it was at 20C and climed to about 23/24c before i exited. when i restarted, the PC wouldn't boot.

I've pretty much narrowed it down to the video card. i ahve twin 8800's and when both are plugged in, the monitor won't display anything, and i get a Post error on my mobo LCD.

If i unplugg the top card and leave the bottom in, it boots right up and tells me that i need to move the card to the first PCI express slot if i'm not going to use SLi. and if i unplugg the bottom card, evertyhing works normal.

i've tried booting with and w/o the sli bridge which is about the only thing i can think of.

So my question is, why would i get these errors with both plugged in? they both have the right power cords going to them, and i have an 850w PSU.

i have a x6800
eVGA nForce 680i
BFG 8800 GTX's
Water cooled

Any help appreciated. thanks
