Ok this is my system
xp2500
1gb pc2700
asus mobo A7N8X
did have geforce ti4600
This is my problem,, I am not a genuine geek I have done several things to fix my pc in the past and have built this one with help. My problem is this,, I recently bought evga geforce 7600gs to upgrade my video to play games I like, However, in the process of removing the drivers to update with new ones I removed the Nforce drivers also. Yep, you guessed it,, Now I can not get drivers to update and I have a vga controller issue,, if I fix one the other stops update. I can't seem to get the vga controller issue fixed. I also in my grand driver removal feat,, lost nv4_mini.sys. I have so much on my pc for my game I seriously do not want to reformat to fix this. I have been at this for 12 hrs now and I am rapidly getting sick of computers. I have spoken with asus,, evga (poor guys they tried). I have tried deleting drivers and reinstalling them so many times and so many different kinds,, my poor head is swimming. I need help now, pleassee!

Oh ,btw, I did try to log into my game several times and I got a D3DERR_NOT AVAILABLE error, Lucky me,, today,,I think I have them all!!

If you'd tried a repair install 9 hrs ago, you'd probably have been playing games 8.5 hrs ago... worst case scenario, 8.5 hrs ago, (the repair didn't work) a complete install you'd probably have been playing your game 6.5 to 6 hrs ago.

Take a good night's sleep, and do it over, properly...

Shortcuts are often very long detours... Good luck. (and I really meant it about the sleep first... You'll think more clearly.)
