Receiving emails of old posts

hi. I am receiving some email from old posts. I recently got a email about a post i made in 2010! I already have the email notification off in my settings. I was wondering if there was a way to stop getting emails about threads.

The e-mail you get offers a link to unsubscribe from that specific thread so I think you'll need to do that every time you receive one. Unsubscribing on the site's link operates on future threads but doesn't seem to be retroactive.

edit: i just checked the email. there is no option to unsubscribe lol. i guess ill just have to live with it for now
