Hey guys. I just downloaded CoreTemp last night to help measure my new build. I looked at some of the developer's documentation, but I can't seem to find the info I'm looking for. What the heck is the "Tjunction" temp above the two core temps? Mine's showing like 85 degrees C on my E6600 which is pretty dang high. I was just a little concerned. What is it?

Ok, ok. Just did a search for "tjunction" on the forum. Should have done that before I posted...my apologies. So, it looks like it's consistently 85 C. Does anyone know at least what the darn thing is?

Well, if anyone's wondering, I believe I've discovered that "Tjunction" is the highest temperature defined by Intel that the processor can take. In my case, it's 85 C. Love it when I answer my own questions... Hope this helped some other people too.
