I just got a Logitech UltraX media remote. But the bundled soft is a total crap. is there any good soft for those remotes, or even better, is there a way to remap the key functions for such devices? Thanks alot!

I dont believe it. If its true, I gonna call Logitech and tell them how shitty is their remote :(

(for example: If you are wathing a *.avi type video, you cant F-Forward or segment jump even wth their soft on..., you have to watch all over again.) Sad.

yes that is the limitation of video player, but the remote doesnt support any other players than its own bundled. So thats why I'm looking for a way to config it my own way.

Thats exactly what I mean :)

Thanks a lot! I'll find them... somehow :)

What about WinLirc?

I managed to configure a half of my remotes buttons with BsPlayer.

I wish the WiiMote worked like a mouse for the computer.... that would be freaking awesome.

What OS are you using? A lot of the media controllers expect the install will be on Windows MCE. If it's just installed in XP, then you lose some of the functionality -- like fast forward.
