about cantenna, drivers, & ISP!

its my second mail with a same sound!!!
SORRY ABOUT ITS! becoz I feel if my later post was gone!

i and my friends now is trying to making wi-fi device uses !CAN! based on http://www.turnpoint.net/wireless/cantennahowto.html. (<-plz read that article first). now help me:
1. are the wi-fi device from a can still needed a drivers?
2. if yes, how can i get it?
3. do i can using my friend's IP for connecting my computer (with cantenna) to the net?
4. based on my knowledge, wavelan connection is needed PC router too. how about the router? are cantenna didn't use/ need the router?
5. plz tell me more about your knowledge of cantenna!
