When East Meets West!
On New Years Day, My Bro and I decided to get together and wash our rides and then do some highway pull and capture some great photos of some spots around Montgomery, Alabama. I am the one with the Shelby (of course) and he's pushing his Evo 8. Nice looking rides and enjoy the pics. Sorry for not posting them on the site, but they are massive from my camera.
Hope you enjoyed the pics, There will be more to come!!!

Sweet looking fcuker isn't it. The older Cobras don't look too bad either.
Yeah, my girl thinks im inlove with the car more than with her,
when in all actuality, i really am.
but I wouldnt mind pushing a "real" shelby cobra around. heh.
they have a car show coming up on tuesday, which my ride is featured (

*...cries over the truthfulness...*
Spoiler : atleast i have a job,
Oh yea, Detroit Iron of the finest!!!!! I'd like to stomp on the throttle and see what she does!!!!!
Years ago in the 70s, my MIL had a boyfriend that was an engineer at Ford. He had a Mach I that we took out on the eway around Detroit... One of the the wildest rides I've had to tell the truth about it... He'd stop on the eway and then get on it before they knew it was stopped.... Wild ride I'm telling you!!!!
oh those mach 1's are quick as ****. i had one blow the doors off me about a month ago... [/embarrassed]
well hell if i can ever get up to MI or your down this way, ill let the old man play.
one up on turpit, reoptimized and added single page for ease of use.
Phuk you are behind on the news, I've been working for over a month now. Better job and more money than the one I walked out on. Only out for 6 weeks in total this time which given the current climate was a bit of a miracle!!
I'll be hauling a new whip before the year is out, I just don't think I'll ever get past the one chimp power limit tho
Mind you, I do roll on 28's so I guess it's still pimp
..*Laughs at the Rickrolled Tide.*..
ay the tide did go fubar, bastards
congrats on the job chimpboy
Yeah, the best bit is that they don't even try shooting at me.
Way cool!!!
I wouldn't pull a "bullet" on you, but I would do a couple of quaters with it for the hole shots!!!!
Exxxxxxxcellent.
Party time!
I'll look when I get home. I really want to see that Evo!!!!!!!!!
And that piece of crap Mustang too...
i switched dns over so the site probably wont be up til this afternoon...
Who wins when your bro and you race?
EVO from standstill to about 130mph...?
Providing the EVO is actually tuned properly and not driven by a Pussy. Imagine Riser had an EVO, I'd beat it pushing a shopping trolley.

Fixed.

I prefer sportbikes. 0-60 in 2.7 seconds or threading needles on turns leaned over at 54 degrees means you'd be the pussy on 4 wheels.
But thanks for thinking of me.
Bikes are awesome, but there's no comparison. Anyone who would race a sport bike while in a car is an idiot.
Same with my Jeep. I'd not race anyone who was serious about racing and betting money on the race. But we were out in my buddy's Jeep Saturday night and we were jumping icy snowbanks in an empty parking lot. Something you couldn't do in any of those vehicle listed. It's all different.
And how often do you ride your sport bike in the winter, sporto?
I know for a fact that if you had an EVO it'd just end up as a coffee table.
haha Fcuk off Tom. 3 weeks it'll be done.
@Jef: Winter is rebuild time and modifications.
$300 in tires for track. $175 for new upgraded sprockets and chain, carb cleaning, undertail install, and a few minor things.
All so I can go to the track and crash taking a turn too hard.

Yes I am. Race 'em on the highway. They'll jump out to a huge early lead but most are posers and will back off and you win by default.
Don't forget to fill out your donor card.
No, his. Besides, no one would want my liver. The most scared I've been in my life was on the back of bike at 90+mph. It's a not being in control thing. I would never do that again.
I've raced many on the highway, Ferrari to bike, and the only time I've hit the 130mph limiter I've been long gone. Only going by crap I've seen on TV, my local highways are no where near as crowded as yours. Hell, go north an hr and you'll rarely see a car. My schedule makes me miss the rush hour also. The last 3 miles of my highway route are wide open and you can the entire section. Mostly downhill, a perfect spot to open it up.
Why buy a Corvette if you're gonna' drive it like a Chevette.
Life doesn't get really interesting until you hit 150mph.
I changed out my sprockets for more low end power to go through twisties - more power to come out of the corners. I don't need the top end so my bike tops out somewhere around 126-130 now.
Its the corners that make the ride exciting. I might be heading down in June to ride the Tail of the Dragon a few times but I need to buy track pants with pucks to do that.
Tom_Smart wrote : Don't forget to fill out your donor card.
At those speeds... won't be anything left to donate.
Riser wrote : Tail of the Dragon
I'd like to try that. Try RT100 in VT. Slow down to 25-30mph in the towns and in between those you can do pretty much what you want.
My forums have lost 6 people in the last 2 years, a few on the Tail, a couple in different accidents. Not a single person was at fault.. all the result of someone else (cager) being an idiot.
the elevation change is the hardest thing to adapt to when you're not going slow. But down in Southern and SE Ohio, you get the roads through the foothills with the small towns. Have to avoid the 1%ers (True HD guys) - they're hated down there, we sportbikes respect the rules so the police leave us alone.
When you go down on twisties and you're in the full track gear, they know exactly what you're doing but they leave you alone since they figure it'll be the ambulance's job later.

I prefer taking it slow...
The six people your forums lost? Which idiot forced them onto sport bikes doing speed? You see, I don't care how stupid the other driver is, they are never going to kill me on a sport bike. Why? Because I'm not fcuking getting on one.
