My Memory for my PC is coming tomorrow. The specs...

Athlon 64 X2 5200
ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe Mobo
Patriot 1GB(512 x 2) Dual Chanel PC 6400 DDR2 Ram
Seagate Barracuda 320GB Hard Drive
Radeon X1900XT Video Card
XDreamer Case
Silverstone 500W PS with Active PFC

Since this build I'm worried about heat to death for some reason I wonder if I can run without a rear case fan for a little while(aka until I have $ to get one). The case came equipped with a fan on top and on the side and my PS has one as well.

If it has a top fan exhausting as well as the PSU exhaust it will probably be fine. Monitor temps and if they run high, just take the side panel off for a bit until you can get a fan.

Cheap fans can be found at local shops that don't have much hardware such as Radio Shack or Best Buy.

buy a back exhaust fan when you can, but keep the side fan. itll help with the x25000 and the x1950 as there big heat makers.

side fans rock! my 25cm, yes 25, and its not a misprint of 15 lowered my temps by heaps:

gpu - 4 C
vid card ram - 8C
cpu - 3C
mobo temp - 15
power mosfets - i ca now touch them wivout burning my hand
chipset - about 6C
