New build problem

i just built my new computer and i am having trouble with it.(asus 650i motherboard,2 gigs g.skill ram,7950gt,ocz gamestreak 700watt psu,inbtel C2D e6400) I plugged everyhting in and it turns on.I get 1 beep when i turn my pc on,and the motherboard screen comes up.At the bottom left it says press delete to enter setup but when i press delete nothing happens.I have no clue what to do from here so i would appreciate any help.

i got past being stuck at press delete but now it says entering setup....(it says this for hours like its frozen).Ihave no clue what to do.Can someone please help me?Also i cleared the CMOS because i've heard on some motherboards you have to do that first but im still stuck at entering setup...

If you are getting the one beep then you are posting all right so it's not a core component (hopefully). When you get into the bios does it recognize all the optical and hdd's correctly? That may be the issue, if you have a bad hdd then it may be having trouble accessing it.
