Please help!
I want to create a cisco wireless network among three offices. The buildings consist of a headquarters and a branch office within a city, and a remote office in a nearby town. The branch office has three floors, all of which require WLAN access for 20 laptop PCs and/or PDAs. The remote office has two floors with the same requirements as the branch office. All end users require access to e-mail, the Internet and file servers within the business headquarters

The requirements are 10 Mbps wireless access between the branch office and the headquarter, and at least 2 Mbps wireless access between the remote office and the branch office and business headquarters.

The headquarter is 30m tall
Branch office is 20m tall
Remote office is 10m tall

The distance between HQ and remote office is 15km with no line of sight.
The distance between HQ and branch office is 2 km.
The distance between branch office and remote office is 10km.

I want to know:
•The choice of WLAN type for the netwok
•The choice of WLAN equipment
•The choice of antennas, how and where they can be mounted
•The choice of antenna cable

Thank you.

cant be done...is my first answer
the wireless networks can be setup at each site, but wireless over 10 Km?
really doubt thats ever going to happen

unless of course.....SATALITE!!!
thought I'd raise your hopes a bit. you Might be able to get wireless between the HQ and branch at 2K you might be able to use Point to Point, but that might be expensive at around 7Gs.
the best option for you i think is fibreoptic. get a cable laid between the sites.

either you could do:
HQ ~ Remote office
HQ ~ Branch office

or
HQ ~ branch ~ remote

first option is prob better as ur HQ is likely to have better support though second option should be cheaper.

The internal Network doesnt really need to change that much...i mean the hardware is pretty standard...the problem is linking the building's up.

forget wireless...unless you have half a dozen repeater stations that can strengthen the signal

edit: another alternative is to have internet access on all, and setup a VPN
