Does anybody know how i can make this card run better?
i can play Quake 4 on low settings with some of the stuff turned off and at 1024x768 but i don't like to play games on low settings is there any way i can maybe put it on medium settings?

Either overclock it or if you've done that buy a new chip. A 6200 is extremely weak in terms of gaming performance.

hmm do you have a link or somthing to an overclocking tool and if so can you tell me what i could overclock it to so that it doesnt damage the card because it was all i could afford and so that is the best card i could get at the time.

Try this one, read up on the subject before you try anything, know what you are trying to do:

http://forumz.tomshardware.com/hardware/Nvidia-bios-modification-flash-restore-guide-ftopict126374.html

The best way I found to do it is that I try the overclock with coolbits to find a stable and reasonable level, turn off coolbits and then modify the bios to reflect the overclocks, flash the card and go from there.

Works for me but I don't like relying on software to "control" the hardware, only to interface with it.

Dude you need a better video card. To bad you didn't pick up the 6200 128bit AGP card with the NV43 core. You could unlock the other 4 pipes with RivaTuner, overclock the hell out of it and it was as good if not better than the 6600. I still have mine but I don't use it anymore.

if you don't want to upgrade to the new card, considering turning down the resolution. the 64bit 6200 is very memory bandwidth limited, and therefore using a lower resolution will help boost the performance a lot.

for example, running Q4 at high detail @ 640x480 will probably be faster than running Q4 at low detail @ 1024x768.
