I am trying to set up my cousin's new custom built PC and am getting no signal to the monitor. I have checked all the connections and all seems fine. I have tried using both PCIe x16 slots on the motherboard, switching DVI ports on the card, and have removed the Audigy sound card to avoid any conflicts. The card on the motherboard to switch between single and dual video cards is set to single. Any information will be appreciated. System specs are as follows:

Case: Antec New Solution NSK4400

Power Supply: Hiper Type M HPU-4M730-SS Low Noise 730 Watt

Motherboard: Asus P5NSLI

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 (No OC)

Memory: 2GB (2x 1GB) Kingston ValueRAM DDR2 667MHz

Graphics: Gigabyte GV-NX79G256DP-RH GeForce 7900GS 256MB PCIe

Sound: Sound Blaster Audigy SE

Hard Drives:
Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD800JB 80GB SATA 3.0 GB/s (Primary)
Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD4000KD 400GB SATA 3.0 GB/s (Secondary)

If you have another PCI Express card, or could borrow one, swap it in to make sure it isn't the motherboard. Also, try the video card in another machine, if you have access to one, to make sure it's not that. Lastly, hook up the monitor to another computer to make sure that isn't it. If all those tests pass, then it's a conflict. Otherwise, you'll know it a defect and what part it is.
