I am buying Sennheiser HD-280. Wondering if listening from Ipod is ok, I got 5th Gen 80gb. The headset has 64Ohm impendance and I am not too sure about what Ipod outputs and if there is decline if its less.
How bad is it? I don't mind if there is small decline and I bet they would be a little* better then my stock garbage air grubs(plugs :).

Also can anyone reccomend a decent amp?

The lower the impedimence the better when it comes to portables, a higher number means that more power is required to drive the headphones to a decent volume. The ipod is quite powerful when it comes to portables however, and should be able to drive the 64Ohm 280s just fine.
