I currently have a amd 64 939, I was given a amd X2 4800+ nib, should I just install it in my current system or....... sell it on ebay and get e6300 with new mb and ram with only about 100 bucks towards it?

Agreed with Jack, I generally advise S939 people to stick with the platform unless they REALLY need the performance of an overclocked C2D system.
