Through the use of RivaTuner, I've noticed that my GPU core will regularly reach temps as high as 90C under heavy load. It seems to be in the 82-86C range most of the time. it idles (at the Windows desktop) at around 56C.

I haven't had any problems yet, but I was wondering if these temps within reason? If not, what should it be running at? I have the stock cooling solution.

Thanks in advance!

They are fine. I'm running a 1900xtx with Accelero X2 and I also top out at 90C (only in demanding games ie CoH), while I run from 78-85 avg in the majority of games. Idle is around 48-50C (but I use a Antec Point and Cool Fan to force air into the cooler) and I'm running 25-27C ambient after hour or so of gaming (summer here plus the room builds up temps). So, for stock cooler it's doing well.

The only thing you can do additionally is increase cold air into the inlet of the cooler and this will allow 2-5C difference. Good air flow can make a world of difference.
