i am lookin at a opty 175 or an x2 4200+ which one is better for the money i can get the 4200+ for 265(cad) and opty for 275(cad) obviously both are 2.2ghz so also what is better for gaming -overclocking

Without a doubt, get the Opteron. It's got 1MB L2 vs. the 4200's 512kb. The Opteron is also prime Si, and should overclock slightly higher than the 4200+. GL
