Beeping upon startup

I have a custom built CP with a pentium III 900 mhz processor. When I try to startup I hear One long beep and one short beep and then it shuts itself down. How can I fix this? The monitor never shows anything on the screen and it stays on just long enough to beep at me then it shuts off. Please help!

Reseat the following:

RAM
Video Card



If that doesn't work trying independently testing your RAM sticks. Put one in. Try turning on the computer, if that doesn't work, try the next.
